Wuxi Double Elephant Xingya Equipment Co., Ltd. was integrated by Shuangxiang Group into the assets of Shanghai Lida Heavy Industry Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in April 2015. Its subsidiary Wuxi Shuangxiang Rubber and Plastic Machinery Co., Ltd. acquired Shanghai Lida Heavy Industry Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and integrated it. An independent legal entity established after acquiring some of the assets. Its products, technology, personnel and equipment are the same as those of the original Shanghai Lida Heavy Industry Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
The history of the company:
The company was founded in 1929 and was originally named Shanghai Asia Steel Plant. In 1956, it was restructured into Shanghai Metallurgical Equipment Plant (Shanghai Mechanical Maintenance Plant). It mainly serves domestic steel plants such as Baosteel, Shanghai Iron and Steel Plant No. 1, No. 3 and No. 5. In 1998 Renamed Shanghai Yaxing Metallurgical Equipment Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Xinya Metallurgical Equipment Co., Ltd., affiliated to Shanghai Electric (Group) Corporation. In 2006, it was renamed Shanghai Lida Heavy Industry Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
After several generations of hard work and development, technology accumulation and talent gathering, it has gradually formed three major categories of products, namely, secondary enveloping toroidal worm gear reducer, multi-functional continuous drawing unit, metallurgical non-standard equipment, and metallurgical non-standard equipment. Mainly include blast furnace, electric furnace, converter and other metallurgical smelting equipment, square, round, plate, thin billet continuous casters; 300,000-400,000-ton bar and wire rod rolling mill production lines, high-speed wire rod rolling mill production lines, cold rolling mills below 1,450, and reciprocating cold rolling machines, various types of coiling and uncoiling equipment, metallurgical transfer trolleys and various types of metallurgical equipment spare parts, etc.
